to the World Conference Commemorating Iqbal

18–20 November 2025, Quetta, Pakistan

Some time ago, an invitation for Dr. Fitrat Nashenas to the World Iqbal Conference, which is being held from, 18–20 November 2025, in the city of Quetta, Pakistan, was sent to the Shahmama Foundation.

With an understanding of the regional situation, Dr. Fitrat submitted a written response to this call. Despite repeated contacts by the organisers to secure his presence at the event, Dr. Fitrat placed greater emphasis on speaking out and presenting his views in order to encourage intellectuals and informed circles to work for awakening the peoples of the two countries and for finding logical and humane solutions to the issues and conflicts, and he did not consider it expedient, under the present circumstances, to attend the conference in person.

Now, on the first day of this gathering, we present the text of the invitation and Dr. Fitrat Nashenas’ response, whose publication during the program had also been promised.

چندی‭ ‬پیش‭ ‬فراخوانی‭ ‬برای‭ ‬دعوت‭ ‬استاد‭ ‬ناشناس‭ ‬در‭ ‬کنفرانس‭ ‬جهانی‭ ‬اقبال‭ ‬که‭ ‬از‭ ‬‭ ‬۱۸‭ ‬تا‭ ‬۲۰‭ ‬نومبر‭ ‬۲۰۲۵‭ ‬در‭ ‬شهر‭ ‬کویتهٔ‭ ‬پاکستان‭ ‬برگزار‭ ‬میشود،‭ ‬به‭ ‬بنیاد‭ ‬شاهمامه‭ ‬گسیل‭ ‬یافت‭. ‬استاد‭ ‬ناشناس‭ ‬با‭ ‬درک‭ ‬وضعیت‭ ‬منطقه‭ ‬پاسخ‭ ‬تحریری‭ ‬در‭ ‬جواب‭ ‬این‭ ‬فراخوان‭ ‬ارایه‭ ‬کرد‭ ‬و‭ ‬با‭ ‬وجود‭ ‬تماس‭ ‬های‭ ‬متعدد‭ ‬دست‭ ‬اندرکاران‭ ‬‬جهت‭ ‬حضور‭ ‬یابی‭ ‬استاد‭ ‬ناشناس‭ ‬در‭ ‬این‭ ‬برنامه،‭ ‬داکتر‭ ‬فطرت‭ ‬بیشتر‭ ‬به‭ ‬سخن‭ ‬و‭ ‬ارایهٔ‭ ‬نظریات‭ ‬خویش‭ ‬جهت‭ ‬تشویق‭ ‬روشنفکران‭ ‬و‭ ‬آگاهان‭ ‬برای‭ ‬بیداری‭ ‬مردم‭ ‬دو‭ ‬کشور‭ ‬و‭ ‬رسیدن‭ ‬به‭ ‬راه‭ ‬حل‭ ‬منطقی‭ ‬و‭ ‬انسانی‭ ‬مسایل‭ ‬و‭ ‬منازعات‭ ‬تأکید‭ ‬نمود‭ ‬و‭ ‬حضور‭ ‬یافتن‭ ‬در‭ ‬این‭ ‬برنامه‭ ‬را‭ ‬در‭ ‬چنین‭ ‬شرایط‭ ‬مصلحت‭ ‬نپداشت‭. ‬

اینک‭ ‬متن‭ ‬فراخوان‭ ‬و‭ ‬پاسخ‭ ‬استاد‭ ‬ناشناس‭ ‬در‭ ‬روز‭ ‬نخست‭ ‬این‭ ‬همایش،‭ ‬که‭ ‬وعدهٔ‭ ‬نشر‭ ‬آن‭ ‬در‭ ‬برنامه‭ ‬نیز‭ ‬سپرده‭ ‬شده‭ ‬است،‭ ‬پیشکش‭ ‬می‌شود‭.‬
